TEVA 3109 is a beige Capsule oral drug, which contains amoxicillin 500 milligrams as an active ingredient. Manufactured and supplied by Teva Pharmaceuticals USA.

TEVA 3109 can treat a variety of infections caused by viruses such as tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, or infections in the nose, throat, skin, or urinary tract.

TEVA pill 3109 may also be used in combination with another antibiotic known as clarithromycin (Biaxin) to treat stomach ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori. This mixture is usually combined with a stomach acid remover known as Lansoprazole (Prevacid) .ß

There are a variety of types and varieties of Amoxil available, but not all types are included in this manual.

Warnings

Do not take these medicines if they are allergic to these drugs, or other antibiotic penicillin-like ampicillin (Omnipen, Principen), dicloxacillin (Dycill, Dynapen), oxacillin (Bactocill), penicillin (Beepen-VK, Ledercillin VK, Pen-V, Pen -Vee, Pfizerpen, V-Cillin K, and Veetids) and many others.


Before taking TEVA 3109, let your doctor know if he or she is sensitive to cephalosporins such as Omnicef, Cefzil, Ceftin, Keflex, and others. Tell your doctor if you have asthma, kidney or liver disease, blood clotting or blood clotting mononucleosis (also known as "mono"), or any other type of allergy.
